place where users post new discussions, respond to established
discussions, submit pictures in dozens of categories and get paid for doing so.
MyLot is able to pay for these postings because the more
users the site has, which it attracts by paying them to post, the
more it can charge advertisers for space on the site.
Registration is easy, just a few fields to complete.
You will be sent a confirmation email to confirm you sign
up, and once you click on the link inside the email, you
will be able to start posting. You will be asked to
set up your profile and choose categories in which you
would like to post, hobbies you have, products you use,
etc. These will then list at the top on your MyLot
homepage; when you are ready to post, just select a
category and scroll down to where it says
"Discussions." Choose one thread and join
the discussion (or you can start your own discussion
thread). Do not worry; you will remain anonymous as
only your chosen "handle" (a name you decide to
call yourself) will be seen by other users.
You will not get rich posting (each post is worth
about $.03, but that can vary and increase with time), but
spending time on the site can become addicting as you will find
hundreds, if not thousands, of discussion threads in which to
express your opinions. The site does not state this, but our
research shows that posts have to be at least 10-12 words each to
count. Earnings update once a day, so do not worry if your
account balance does not move after a few posts. MyLot
is looking for quality content (as the site says, posts that
"engage other users and provide insightful responses and
comments to other users discussions to further the topic").
Obviously, postings have to be given a little thought. No
spam and no vulgarity allowed. You can also refer friends
and receive a bonus equal to 25% of their discussion
earnings. MyLot pays via Paypal once a month.
