Affina Assist
Customers with Products and Services
When companies sell products and services,
customers often need assistance or have questions. Instead
of handling this customer service in house, many companies,
particularly those nationally recognized, outsource it, and
one of the businesses they use to do this is Affina. This
Illinois-based company then hires at home workers to take inbound
calls, answer customer questions and provide solutions to product
and/or service problems. No cold calling is required,
and the job pays between $8 to $10 per hour.
Affina is looking for people who have at least a
high school diploma, a quiet work space and the following
technical minimums (you can test to see if your current computer
meets the minimum requirements on the company website):
- Windows XP (any version) or Vista (Premium or Business
only). 64-bit systems cannot be used at this time.
- 2.0 Ghz or better Processor
- 2GB RAM or better
- Sound Card
- 40GB Hard Drive
- Monitor
- Antivirus Software with updated virus definition
- DSL or cable Internet access
- Router ($40)
- Headset
There is a catch to working for Affina, and that is that those
hired must complete 4 to 6 weeks of training in Illinois or Iowa
before transitioning to working at home. If this not a
problem, you may apply for a job at:
